Well Coach I agree with lots of what you said but I also think we are way to easy on kids these days and that is why they have no respect or common sense (which is so uncommon) that we want give them trophies for being there not winning. We are told not to smack the kids when they do something wrong you put them in time out. What a load when they back talk you crack their A##es, and not beat them but just to let them know you will take action if they dont do as told,I have 11 brothers and sisters 10 of the 12 have at least 4 year college ed. and most have more. We were cracked when we got out of line and would never think of doing or saying things these kids say to teachers or the parents and niether are "allowed" to do anything about it half of the neighborhood I grew up in were allowed to crack you for good reason also and you then hoped it didnt get back to the home front or you got it again. I think my parents did a wonderful job of raising 12 kids and how they have turn

You lost me when you said that adults pressure kids so much it causes them to kill themselves. How silly. Teen suicides come from the violent youth culture and from bullying online and in line. Its not parents pressuring their kids to succeed. If but we did that.
