Maybe it's the State who's being "mean" here. It's like the schoolyard bully who takes your milk money to buy candy for his pals.

If you're going to confiscate income from my hard-earned paycheck to redistribute my money to someone else, at least choose someone who needs the money for food, and not some history hobbyist's pet "preservation" project.

Come on really?? Can't you just say good that there is funding coming in to improve the area? Is it that hard to just be nice,..or at least not mean???

Since my state tax money is paying to renovate those privately-owned buildings, when can I move my stuff in? If I'm paying for the buildings it's only fair that I should get some use for my money.
