The concept of shifting Ormet electric costs to the public will not work. The public has no equity in Ormet.

atoddh, Not long ago you were posting how the new Ormet management was sent from heaven to fix the business. LOL

I hope you have not received any of those grant dollars you were looking for.....

If Ormet really wants to cut costs, get rid of the union. That way, they could get a full day's work out of their people. God forbid if they have to shower off the clock.

dying: I don't think they will make it now: in light of the power bills. The dedicated gas power station is a good idea. But is there time now? Tanchuck has done the best possible job with what he has to work with: an old facility. I do agree with the public contributing to Ormet's power tab.

Couldn't Mexicans do these jobs at Ormet for a lot less money. As a matter of fact the company would turn a much greater profit if they just moved the plant to Mexico.
