Wheres the beef?!!

Come on, they have had soy burgers (vegetable patties) for a long time, generally taste like crap compared with real beef.

Put enough ketchup on them and they are tolerable. So is ***t if you put enough condiments on it !!!

WHY?

Why would anyone think this is a good idea.

Can you grow meat (protein) from a few cells faster than you can the raise it the "old fashion way"?

I don't believe there has been much beef in fast food hamburgers for some time now

The meat tends to have a grey color and tastes NOTHING like burgers made at home

Wendy's, McDonalds, and Burger King burgers now have horrible taste and texture

Again the moron brigade speaks. How about recognizing a new way to feed to starving people in the world. U guess if daMoron didn't patent it, then it's no good. Geez, can't you guys acknowledge any good in the world? Wake up. Leave your mothers house. It's 2013!

Coffee, so you want to feed the hungry people of the world. Maybe you should convince the libs that instead of fermenting their grain foods to make gas additives (alcohol) that shorten the lives of internal combustion engines they could send the grain to those hungry people and utilize energy resources that have a lesser effect on the food chain.

No, let's spend tons of money researching alternate meat sources to imitate the meats that those same libs tell us are not good for us.

Were you looking in the mirror when you saw that moron you are referring to?

"Let's spend"? How much did you invest? It was private funding. At least read the article.

"Sergey Brin, a co-founder of Google, announced that he funded the 250,000-euro ($330,000) project, saying he was motivated by a concern for animal welfare." Sorry in-vitro baby cows, sheep, goats, in the progressive world, in-vitro life is meaningless. Sleep tight PETA.

coffee; I don't care how libs spend their money, however, in my post the "let's spend" was an interpretation of a mind set that would develop a "save the animals" food source while sacrificing an existing non-animal food source to forward other agendas.

I still cannot think this circular logic. Please pass the Kool-Aide.
