Please dear God instill common sense and goodwill toward our citizens in all of our valued police officers. Protect them in their daily journeys, and give them the frame of mind to not so hastily arrest and jail, as they do oh so so so much any more these days. Dear God, give the city of Wheeling the insight to know that the PD has become much too large, much too expensive, and not proportionate to the sensible needs of our community, as our good people are now being called upon to sustain this ever-growing agency. The scales of justice have been oh so heavily weighted, and our good people are suffering.
