the article is written by at least one guy who has made millions in tax supported salaries to administer public colleges. He may take it personally when people start talking about cutting back on certain things (such as examining salaries of administrators). The concept of taking the total cost of education and dividing it by the number of students is a shell game. The cost of educating students at Cameron High school, which has a brand new facility, must be astronomical on that scale. The idea is that you are supposed to keep spending, keep raising salaries, buying equipment (needed or not) or you ratio of spending to student will show you to be "underfunding" education, when in fact it may have no impact on students at all. In recent yrs folks in Marshall County passed a $100 million dollar bond issue, and then got whacked with their property tax being taken to the highest possible level. Student ratio must be huge. teach your kids to not listen to politicians.they aren't capable of telling the truth.they sell their souls for a buck.
