As a parent, Mr. Ihlenfeld, you need to think very carefully about just exactly what you're trying to teach these kids. DO NOT teach them that posting photos to Instagram is bad, or that avoiding social media will keep them from getting into trouble! Teach them the trutch, that rape is horrible and those who do it SHOULD BE PUNISHED. Social media is not the bad guy here, the criminals (high school kids or not) and their parents are the bad guys. Imagine if your kid was the victim before you start teaching kids how to avoid being caught.

This situation was not a problem of any school system it was a problem of A LACK OF PARENTING.
