Wild fish and game meat has long been standard fare for me. My father introduced me to hunting and fishing as soon as I could keep up with him in the field. We shot and ate all the animals mentioned in the article. In Alaska my wife and I consumed moose, caribou, dall sheep, lynx, Sitka deer, seal, walrus, whale (mukluk), muskrat, beaver and a host of game birds. Fish from salmon to bass have graced our plates.
