clueless: Which Affordable Health Care Plan are you referencing; the one that Nancy endorsed and voted for without reading; the one that Obama said would reduce the cost of healthcare insurance for the average family; the one that Obama said would not affect you if you already have insurance; the one that is not a tax but is a tax; the one that Congress finds too expensive to provide for their staff without a government subsidy; the one that will result in full-time employment becoming part-time employment for many workers; the one updated by "executive order" to give special privilege to some groups; or the one that is being postponed piece by piece until after the mid-term election?

Wait, Look at the Emperor's New Clothes!!!!

The TINFOIL HAT BUNCH have been screaming that this is a GOVERNMENT TAKE OVER OF HEALTH CARE. Now you are saying that health insurance is taking over health care........ Really doesn't seem any different except that now everyone will be insured.

clueless, Did you read the article?

"However, the law also will pump in billions of dollars in federal tax credits to help the uninsured pay premiums - and ease cost increases for many who are currently buying the skimpy individual policies. The money will go directly to the insurance plan, and policyholders will pay the difference - a discounted sticker price, in effect."

Picking winners (insurance companies) and losers (tax payers)!

NBC NEWS: Businesses, Unions, Colleges all say employee hours being cut over Obamacare but WH says “no evidence”

August 14th, 2013

| NBC News contacted around 20 small businesses and other entities for this report and found that employee hours are being cut to 29 hours because of Obamacare, despite the delay of the employer mandate. But the White House, NBC News reports, says that there is no systematic evidence that this is because of Obamacare and dismisses the report as anecdotal."

Just more redistribution of wealth! Take from the achievers and give to the slackers!

"About half of the people won't be paying the sticker price," said Gary Claxton, director of the health care marketplace project at Kaiser, an information clearinghouse on the health care system. "The people who get help will get quite a lot of help."

"Many, but certainly not all, of the people who don't get tax credits will pay more," he said. "How much more will be a function of a lot of different things."
