So they spent $20,000 taxpayer dollars to learn how to raise taxes on businesses in the state and how to create a slush fund. You probably thought they had those two moves figured out already.

North Dakota sends about 3 billion in federal tax to DC and receives about 10 billion back from DC! So why do they get to save money while the rest of us pay the bills for them? will they be sharing the oil/gas money with all 50 states?

Hey Kess, why don't you look at your buddy Obamamuss and give more money to the baby makers with pants down to knees and having the working people pay their way while you promote hate to keep killing your money giving tax payers? Have a fun party time away in the notell motel.

If we, as private citizens plan and save for our future, it makes perfect sense to me for the state--any state to do the same thing.

Is there a problem with this logic???

icecream, two problems. First, this is you neighbor taking YOUR money and saving it for THEIR future, and second, it will eventually be spent on bankrupt government employee pensions that are failing because of overextended promises and poor big-government-style management, NOT for the good of private citizens.
