How dare you daWraith to bring in studies to these topics. Liberals hate or deny studies unless it is their own skewed pools. BTW, I just viewed a poll that 76% of American's have either a strong or moderate concern over this Administration's contempt for the U S Constitution. I would imagine that many of these voters are Democrats. The light is becoming very clear for all to see, unless you are the Liberal blind.

Harvard cont'd:

"Looking at Western Europe, the study shows that Norway "has far and away Western Europe's highest household gun ownership rate (32%), but also its lowest murder rate."

And when the study focuses on intentional deaths by looking at the U.S. vs Continental Europe, the findings are no less revealing. The U.S., which is so often labeled as the most violent nation in the world by gun control proponents, comes in 7th--behind Russia, Estonia, Lativa, Lithuania, Belarus, and the Ukraine--in murders. America also only ranks 22nd in suicides.

The murder rate in Russia, where handguns are banned, is 30.6; the rate in the U.S. is 7.8."

Gun Control Freaks: FAIL! again

A Harvard Study titled "Would Banning Firearms Reduce Murder and Suicide?" looks at figures for "intentional deaths" throughout continental Europe and juxtaposes them with the U.S. to show that more gun control does not necessarily lead to lower death rates or violent crime.

Because the findings so clearly demonstrate that more gun laws may in fact increase death rates, the study says that "the mantra that more guns mean more deaths and that fewer guns, therefore, mean fewer deaths" is wrong.

For example, when the study shows numbers for Eastern European gun ownership and corresponding murder rates, it is readily apparent that less guns to do not mean less death.

In Russia, where the rate of gun ownership is 4,000 per 100,000 inhabitants, the murder rate was 20.52 per 100,000 in 2002. That same year in Finland, where the rater of gun ownership is exceedingly higher--39,000 per 100,000--the murder rate was almost nil, at 1.98 per 100,000.

No worries, there is an easy way around this and they've been doing it for years. Import a parts kit less a receiver with the serial number stamp. Ship the parts kit straight to your house since it is technically not a "gun" since it lacks a receiver. Have a gunsmith stamp out a receiver, assemble the weapon, then transfer it to you.

There's a reason these laws are easy to circumvent. It's because they are misguided, rushed, and quite simply moronic. I think we're getting a very clear picture of just how dumb this administration is.

It makes no difference what you feel about guns, you need to be alarmed that we have a President who defies the law and the Constitution. He seems to feel that people want him to alter the form of goverment we have and we want to a dictatorship. The Supreme Court which is heavily lib, ruled that he cannot issue Executive Orders to circumvent laws. He issued more EO's in his first term than all other Preidents in hour history combined. When he took office, his party controlled both houses of Congress for the first 2 years. Total control. He was unable to rule or work with Congress even when he controlled it. He believes and so do his most rabid followers that he is a Mussolini like leader and we all want him force his views on the majority. Fascism comes from the political left who want total gov and not the right, who want too little gov. Obama, especially in his horrible use of military power, does not represent the people. Obama is one bizzare runaway ego to hold so much power.

As small and insignificant as these new "orders" are, I believe it could be one step closer to impeachment for Obama. Very shortly, all America will be calling for his head.

Seriously? The below is an example of the duhhhhhhRAT syndrome. Criticize without merit and using 2nd grade names.

PS..Sentences start with a capital letter. Second letter in the word "you" is not capitalized. Sentences end with a period. Dumber is an adjective.

So who is dumber?

Hitler? LOL....he killed millions. I believe the Prez is trying to keep deadly weapons out of hands, like yours.
