The only surprising bit about this story to me is that Murray and his PR team put together this story, and the NR didn't have it posted as their top story on their front page. This guy gets so much free, and extremely slanted coverage from this paper. What happened to investigative reporting and giving us both sides of a particular story?

I am a strong advocate of coal. But after rereading this article several times, it seems to me it was written by Murray's PR group and handed to Mr. Junkins. Typical Murray posturing.

Murray "alleges" that McClendon donated over $50 million to the Sierra Club. Any proof of that Mr. Junkins? Murray calls McClendon a derogatory name. Murray continues to be an embarrassment to our industry. If Murray had the knowhow and/or the financial means, he also would be drilling for gas as is his hated competitor, Consol Energy.
