When someone says, “I have a bridge to sell you,” it’s a scam. Write that down for future reference.

Someone could write a book (of comedy), on this entire fiasco and possibly make money.

Chaklos has all the characteristics of the average politician.

Since Chaklos already received the funds, he should be able to demolish the bridge for no additional cost. Otherwise, his investors are going to be pretty ****** off.

Once the scrap is sold (8,000 tons x 350 per ton), the investors should earn a gross profit of $700,000, a return of 33% on their investment. That works out to a three year annualized return of 11%, which is not bad when you consider that AEP and United Bank are both yielding roughly 4%.

I think that Buttwood should also face a contempt charge for previously saying that Dan Guida was a disinterested third party who was going to hold the cash bond collateral. He has been in cahoots with Horsemeat and Buttwood the whole time!
