The Wheeling City Council, led by the city manager and the mayor, are without a doubt prime examples of keeping secrets from the public and this newspaper aids them in not asking hard questions and demanding answers.

The public has a right to know, certainly. Then of course there is the need to know. A lot of this huffing and puffing is just frustrated morbid curiosity.

Does the public have a right to know? Of course!

Does the public have a right to know everything? Of course not.
