Amazing that NOTHING gets done in WHEE-ling without somebody ELSE money.

You realize in most of the real world, developers risk THEIR OWN MONEY.

Unless of course the project is a risky piece of crap.

Later, when most residents are not WJU students...the city will say, "oh, we never thought that would happen." This clearly looks like a ploy by the developer to have the land rezoned so he can simply build apartments.

Why would Herron ask the Council to allow a private company to use the cities name to borrow money? The U.S. Attorney should be looking into this!

If a for profit project cannot attract bank loans, venture capital, private equity or private bond placement, it is not a worthwhile project.
