Schools don't care if the kids actually learn. They only care about getting enough bodies in the seats because bodies = funding.

Whether the kids learn or not is irrelevant. Teachers get paid no matter what. Teachers are not paid based on success, outcomes, efficiency, productivity or any other objective measure.

And why should they care? They get paid the same no matter what. After a few years, most teachers coast on cruise control. Your idiocy means nothing to them since most are likely idiots themselves, morons who went to the local state college and got their job through a relative on the school board.

You see, kids don't need to learn. There is always a captive customer base coming up. Kick out one group and bring in another.

Liberals who proclaim they support "choice" want nothing to do with vouchers or choice in education.

This is a lobbying group that creates statistics like this to justify accessing more money for the administration of education, not neccesarily classroom education. You can improve graduation rates immediately, and for free simply by allowing schools to not have to warehouse thugs and slobs and give them grades for no school work done. That is one way that educators show that they are graduating more students, not that they can read or function. There used to be alternative schools where the troublemakers were given a last chance op at education, now we put them in the classrooms and hallways. Notice that bullying became a problem about the same time edu administrators decided to warehouse the thugs for more grant money. How about schools for those who want to learn? The rest can go lean on a shovel at Job Corp and live the life they so richly deserve. Let them beat on and rob each other and let other kids get a true education.

Bob Wise still suc king on the tax payer teet!

If you want to reduce the drop out rate try some non-traditional ideas!

My students Social Studies teacher told the class that US currency is backed by gold! Why bother sending kids to brick and mortar buildings to be "liberalized?"
