"Liberals oppose any cuts" Enough said. Where on earth did the mentality develop that people get something for nothing? And now, under Obama, they get it longer than ever. Could the plan be to develop a permanently dependent voter class?

Fear not, if you qualify for food stamps you'll still get them, otherwise you've been found out and the free ride is over. He who shouts the loudest has the most to fear.

Food stamps are being used for Drugs, tobacco, alcohol, tattoos, cash and even paying for prostitution. This Fed Gov. admits that as much as 859 million is fraud, and we all know how low the Gov. makes these kind of estimates. No mothers with children are going to be denied, only the abusers, as they should, and yet, not one single Dem as voted to stop the fraud.

Representatives of the people of America...what a joke. If our tax money doesn't feed, house, and provide medical care for each of our citzens...then what in God's name are we doing with our tax dollars? I am outraged at the disgusting misuse of OUR money. Foolish and devastating wars, the militarization of local police, bank bailouts...absolutely disgusting.

The current system does not work. It is true that anyone that works with recipients know that they do sell them, usually at 50% and easily. Many recipients do not get any cash assistance. How do they buy toilet paper and laundry detergent? Im not speaking of able bodied people who can work but of disabled and unemployed. Not being a drug user, I do not understand the mentality of sticking something up your nose or in your arm-must be mentally ill. Food stamp is just one of the many issues that plague us.

The system is broken and only a fool does not see that. There is hunger in America and yet there have been food stamp programs for decades. You get a lot of food stamps incidentally, more than most working families could ever afford. So why are there food banks, and soup kitchens and larger school lunch programs? Because the food stamp system is broken and now contributes TO child neglect and drug usage. There is a multi million dollar business in buy up foot stamps a nickel on the dollar to get cash to buy drugs and booze. People who work with addicts know that, the gov gives stamps that are converted into cash, not food. The more stamps, the less the kids get to eat. So why not start taking some action, why have taxpayers contribute to addiction, alcoholism and child abusers? Oh I know, thats becuase that is one of the new Democratic Progressive voting blocs. Kept in gov housing like hamsters and fed drugs so long as they go vote when told. Immoral!!

Military records found military families rely on more than $100 million in food stamps a year. 170,000 veterans would feel the pinch from the bill.

Far right extremists say thank you for your service.

Sen John Thune

“Since President Obama came into office, SNAP participation has increased at 10 times the rate of job creation, the annual spending on SNAP has doubled, and one in seven Americans now participates in SNAP,” Thune said in a statement.

“This explosive growth in both the SNAP enrollment and federal cost of the program is alarming and requires lawmakers to take cost-effective legislative control measures,” he added.

So tell, liberal cretins, you clowns keep telling us how good the Obama Economy is yet SNAP is growing 10 times faster than under the evil genius Bush Bush Bush???

Maybe when you spend MORE MONEY on SOMETHING, you get MORE of that SOMETHING!!!!

More money available for welfare begets MORE PEOPLE on WELFARE.. DUH!

Just as the GOPeer attack on the IRS which intentionally overlooks the FACT that $1 spent on IRS enforcement = $6 in Treasury proceeds

..their ideological attack on SNAP intentionally overlooks the FACT that every dollar spent on hunger = $1.70 of economic activity.

Marie Antoinette. Remember that name and her famous quote, "let them eat cake"? Remember a few months later when her pretty little head became a detached appendage by the hungry and downtrodden masses? Watch out you Marie Antoinettes of the Republican Party. You will soon hear the voices of angry men at the ballot box and your precious jobs will be detached from your sorry bodies.
