Spending Cuts Vital in Bellaire

Clearly, Bellaire village officials have no choice but to find ways to cut municipal spending. Otherwise, the town’s budget will have a gigantic, unsustainable hole in it next year....

Wheeling should observe this situation-closely.

As more and more Detroit/Cleveland refugees move into the Friendly City to shack up with distant cousins and/or Girls Who Are Mad At Their Daddies, the crime rate will skyrocket.

A higher crime rate kills investment.

No investment means no jobs.

No jobs means no decent citizens who are committed to the well-being of the community.

No decent citizens = no community.

No community = Detroit.

Maybe the churches in town should pay some sort of property tax? We all have to do our part in tough times.
