Why do we even need taxes when the FED can just dump $85 BILLION in freshly manufactured dollars on the economy every month? Like it's doing NOW?

That kind of Obama Administration economy manipulation makes any realistic analysis of deficits a farce.

When American dollars are no longer worth anything, deficits and the national debt won't mean anything either.

Taxes went up and the deficit went down. Taxes were cut by GWB and the deficit increased. See why increases in taxes and cuts in spending would make sense?

Good for you, WVUGEO. Maybe you should tell those credit card company managers to do their jobs and give you the money. If they still refuse, call them extortionists and then go golfing.

I'm a fiscal genius!!! I make a $100,000 a year. A few years ago I ran up a $200,000 credit card bill, but I'm only going to put $150,000 on the card this year. I'm quite sure the credit card company will accept this proof of financial responsibility and raise my limit with no questions asked!!

Matter of fact, if they even question my monetary acumen, I'm just going to refuse to talk to them!

Mike, first, you shouldn't be calling anyone, let alone a politician "more than a little dishonest." Every time you sit down in front of a keyboard, you pants catch fire. I know you people hate health care reform, but quit calling it a government takeover of health care. You're not that stupid, like some of the commenters here...just one of the most disingenuous men I've ever encountered. Do your job and inform your readers. Express your lame opinions, but don't mislead them. Be a j-o-u-r-n-a-l-i-s-t. Try it.

Clueless, do you have any argument with the article's clearly expressed exposure of the Obamanator's lies about his well-documented taxing and spending increases? Or is screaming about "TIN FOIL HATS" all you have? Too funny.

This article LOST ALL CREDIBILITY when it states that the President is being dishonest right after it made the statement "the national health insurance takeover"..... Talk about being dishonest. NEWS FLASH THERE IS NO NATIONAL HEALTH INSURANCE TAKE OVER it only exists UNDER THE TINFOIL HAT!!!!!

spendaholics will never "change" their ways... the "change" they seek is the change you have left in your pocket after you pay your own bills.. the all powerful Fed. Govt. is getting set to control and take anything you have through inflation. The value of everything is going to go up on paper before the paper crashes and the only thing of value then will be food
