it is going to take a huge public venture capital fund to get WV going. This was proposed by Candidate Lees. Money walks.

There are two obvious models to look at. Texas and North Dakota are growing rapidly, and both are fueled by energy, something WV has a lot of. The second model includes California and New York. Huge deficits and losing jobs at an ugly pace.

Which seems to work? BTW, there are some union jobs in Texas. If you want a union, you can vote it in. Just bear in mind these are right to work states. The union has to actually do something beneficial for the rank and file, not just their buddies and relatives. My company started non-union, then was organized. After less than a year the workers voted them out, because they saw all that happened was another deduction on their paycheck, with nothing else good happening.

There's a lesson here. If you think union membership means an easy job, it more likely means no job.

The company pays you for doing something useful. You are expected to do it. What a concept!

The hypocrisy of this editor as he constantly picks and chooses which businesses he deems worthy or not and then uses this pulpit to destroy.

All a business has to do is watch those laughable "union workers got an attitude" commercial and you can forget about attracting new businesses.
