When Senate Dictator Harry Reid refuses to allow ANY discussion on ANY amendments submitted by Republicans, that’s what Democrit’s call “compromise.” Then they whine that Republicans won’t “negotiate” on their 100% Democrit-written bills. Too funny.

No negotiation. I insist on ruining your healthcare system AND putting your children another TRILLION in debt.

Maybe we need to discuss that...

So King Barry Benghazi directs his National Park Service to shut down the World War II Memorial – the first time in history the memorials have been shut down in 17 previous Government shutdowns since 1976 – to spite American citizens and American veterans who have traveled to visit the memorials,...

... and Gooseman is fixated on Fox News. Goosy now has this Fox News story in her little head and will be repeating it over and over and over and over and... LOL

It’s no wonder these left wing loons are so out of touch with reality. Their hatred of the right blinds them to the truth about their failing Obamessiah. LOL

Fox News host Anna Kooiman fell for a fake story that said President Obama is using his own money to keep a museum dedicated to Muslim culture open during the government shutdown.

The government has been shut down since Tuesday. The co-hosts of "Fox and Friends lamented the closure of the World War II Memorial, which Kooiman claimed "doesn't seem fair especially" because "President Obama has offered to pay out of his own pocket for the museum of Muslim culture."

The fake report came from National Report, a parody news site.

Sad thing is duhhhhhhhRAT now has this story in his little head and will be repeating it over and over and over and over and swearing it is true, he heard it on FauxNews. LOL

NY Times: “The families of four soldiers killed in Afghanistan last weekend will not receive death benefits or the money to pay for their funerals because of the government shutdown. The bodies of Sgt. Patrick C. Hawkins, 25; Pfc. Cody J. Patterson, 24; Sgt. Joseph M. Peters, 24; and First Lt. Jennifer M. Moreno, 25, will arrive at Dover Air Force Base in Delaware on Wednesday. The four soldiers were killed Sunday in the Zhari district of Kandahar Province when enemy forces attacked their unit with explosives. But if their families want to meet the plane, they will have to pay their own way to Delaware. Under the shutdown, Carl Woog, a Defense Department spokesman, said on Tuesday, ‘the Department of Defense does not currently have the authority to pay death gratuities and other key benefits for the survivors of service members killed in action.’”

LOS ANGELES – Funding for clinical cancer trials and other life-saving research under the National Institutes of Health was cut off in response to the government slimdown, but it looks like the cookie monster will still be knee-deep in chocolate chips (or is it carrots now?)

According to the Daily Treasury Statement and first reported by CNS News, the administration dished out $445 million to the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) on the first day of the slimdown, which means funds for the likes of PBS Newshour, NPR and “Sesame Street” are being spent before cancer research.

“It’s more than irresponsible, it is reprehensible. It’s an ‘in-your-face’ move by the administration, blatantly picking winners and losers in this shutdown,” C. Edmund Wright, a columnist for Breitbart**** and American Thinker, told FOX411. “Public broadcasting is a staple of liberal propaganda.”

If the nation defaults on its debts it very well could set off a chain reaction of financial failures that have the potential of making the Great Depression of the 1930s look like child's play. That means that everything from high tech to low tech would be disrupted, stocks and bonds would plummet in value, unemployment would soar above the 25% mark, etc. Considerable damage has already been done insofar as public and international confidence in the U.S. economy is concerned. However, in comparison to what could happen with a prolonged debt default it could be much worse. Let's hope it does not come to that.
