walksabout: How about you start walking and never stop. You are probably so stupid you never put any money away for your retirement. As for me I am doing fine, thank you. If you think people just retire on SS you are really not to bright. Good luck to you and hope you have to work work work "Forever!"

You need a brain transplant. Your inner Nazi is showing. No one said anything about death camps and you know it. Cutting off handouts is not illegal, not evil, not immoral and not uncaring.

When parents discipline their children and when they refuse to give in to their children's every whim, no matter the cost, are parents "evil"? By your narrow minded definition, they are.

You are not entitled to a living. The Constitution of the United States says nothing about guaranteeing success nor does it provide a funding mechanism for the "general welfare".

If you are worried about your retirement, plan and save accordingly. Stop expecting a handout everywhere you turn.

The immoral action lies with those who demand something for nothing not those who refuse to pay money to those with their hands out.

The average senior gets about $1,400 per month in Social Security. If they die two months into retirement, their adult children get nothing.

If they had, instead, invested these Social Security funds (employer & employee) in an S&P 500 index fund, they would have more than $1.4 million at retirement. Better yet, they could spend this whole amount, give it to charity, or, if they die two months after retiring, leave it to their adult children.

Social Security is nothing more than a legal Ponzi scheme that has run out of victims. I never had a "contract" with the government for this because a contract requires the mutual consent of two or more parties. I never consented to this.

Social Security was meant to be a program to keep widows and orphans from complete poverty. It was never meant to allow all Americans to retire at 65 and live in luxury for the rest of their lives.

The program has been an abject failure, with nearly $35 trillion in unfunded liabilities-

These people who run this country should be ashamed of themselves

Goosy, maybe they got that Confederate flag from former Georgia Democrit Congressman Ben “Cooter” Jones. Or from West Virginia Democrit Senator Robert “Grand KKKleagle” Byrd. In fact it was Democrit South Carolina Congressman William Porcher Miles who DESIGNED the Confederate flag. If they needed a Confederate flag in DC, they sure knew your Democrit Party would have one to spare. LOL

1DUHY, the price of gasoline during the Bush administration was mostly n the $2's, didn't need many increases.

Obama PRINTS money and gasoline reflects the inflation. A dollar doesn't buy scat now.

Thanks Obama.

From Salon " The right’s Confederate flag conspiracy theories. When an Obama protestor unveiled a Confederate flag, right-wing tweeters knew who was to blame: liberals"

Go read the article. Right wing extremists started a PR campaign to blame waving the confederate flag in front of White House on Libruls. Too bad for all the liars that the man was identified as one of their own teabaggers.

I have to write again, if you want to know what the right wing extremists are up to, just look at what they blame others of.

Both parties are steeling the peoples money and yet they have us thinking it's the "other" party! FOOLS....

It must be a world full of flowers and nice aromas to just look at this situation and say, blame the GOP. Obama, knowing that AARP will fool the seniors into voting for him, has treated SS as money for expandable people, not people with whom the gov has had a 70 yrs social/financial contract. In his first yr in office he stopped the annual bump, 1st Pres to ever deny even a small raise. And then gave a bump during his 2nd campaign but also raised the Medicare premium by the same amount. Any senior fooled into voting for Obama through AARP baloney is as dumb as any union person who voted for him because they were told to. AARP is simply a vote gathering organization, the truth is in your dwindling SS benefit. Libya got a billion just over the summer and money is still flowing to Islamic groups in the ME, so don't worry about them, they are OK. Seniors? Not so much. Seniors paid trillions into the fund, Obie thanks you as does the Muslim Brotherhood. Sucker.

The sequester Obama’s pirate crew is now demanding Republicans repeal was ALSO Obama’s idea. And according to Barry Oflipflopper of 2008, raising the debt ceiling – a point Barry and Harry insist is non-negotiable - was “irresponsible, unpatriotic.”

Fact check, wonderlie! Your messiah changes the Democrit dogma on a daily basis, so you need to keep up with the talking points. LOL

wunder, This be your D's idea!

"In his 2014 budget, President Obama proposes changing the measure of inflation used to calculate annual Social Security cost-of-living adjustments from the Consumer Price Index for Urban Wage Earners and Clerical Workers (CPI) to the chained CPI beginning in 2015. This change would modestly improve the Social Security system's finances, but result in retirees getting slightly smaller annual increases in their Social Security checks."
