atoddh, I think you’re confused about what a “ward” is. McKinley produces valuable products – buildings – in exchange for the money he receives. A ward does nothing for the money he receives. Examples of “wards” would be welfare recipients, food stamp recipeients, Obamacare subsidy recipients, and heirs of rich doctors. LOL

McKinley himself is a ward of government Troll: having done almost only public projects at his firm.

troll: with 25%-30% of WV residents to be on Medicaid, the State has become a ward of the nation. There is no growth and little opportunity here.80% of WVU WV native grads depart. Congress persons should represent their constituents.

I suppose you're right, atoddh. Adopting socialism never hurt anyone, especially when one has completely given up on growth and opportunity in America. Maybe we could all stand along the interstate with "Hungry Please Help" scrawled on corrugated cardboard signs, too. Since we're abandoning all our self respect, too.

troll: WV is arguably the poorest state in the US. The majority of District One residents will benefit from the new care plan. There is not growth and opportunity here. WV delegates should embrace the social programs; not oppose them.

So you're running again, Tom? Starting the smear campaign early this time, I see.

Other than whiny opinions on generalities, an obvious misstatement that McKinley doesn't compromise (he voted FOR the Democrit Senate's debt ceiling bill), and a prognostication that McKinley will morph into a pork master like Molloscam, did you actually have anything? LOL

Pure posturing. The entire problem is people like McKinley that have no principles other than those that serve his own purposes. The only reason he won by such a wide margin is that the Dems put up a lousy candidate and even their own knew it. When the GOP wakes up and accepts the fact that they are being played for suckers, they might...just might find that the best way to fight this guy is to use his own tactics against him...not compromise with him. The only difference between McKinley and Mollohan has turned out to be the letter behind their name. Otherwise, not a lot of difference. With time, McKinley will be bragging about the amount of pork he brings home, too.

atoddh “McKinley ... does not represent the majority of his constituents in WV.”

Funny. Because I recall he was reelected by a landslide 62%-38% majority. He won in every county. Maybe democracy just doesn’t suit you Democrits. LOL

atoddh; The real problem is that you have bought into all this BS.

Look at the situation; Barry refused to consider delaying his namesake plan for a year in order to lead Congress past this impasse. Let the Republican take the blame for this impasse.

Now, three weeks later, his spokesman Jay C is suggesting that Mr. O may extend this deadline.

The Pres. is depending upon his reasoning that no one will challenge his authority to do this. The House wants the delay (and if they object to this power grab they justify the Democrat position that they were merely obstructionists during the budget debates), the Senate is afraid of Obama (as seen by their refusal to vote on any House proposal), and the majority of the voters don't know anything about the Constitution.
