So you are a f-up company and then the goberment gives you another 1.3 billion dollar contract!

"Services firm Serco suffered a major security breach in 2012. Serco won a five-year $1.3 billion contract to process and verify paper applications for health insurance via the online exchanges. Serco's breach exposed sensitive data of more than 123,000 members of the Thrift Savings Plan, a $313 billion retirement plan run by the U.S. Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board. The exposed data included full names, addresses, Social Security Numbers, financial account information, and bank routing information."

"an issue of life and death for many Americans"

You would think something as important as "life and death" would've been addressed with 3 1/2 years to get ready!! Obviously the Obama admin didn't take it as "seriously"!!

"Well actually I didn't realize it would not be operating optimally before the launch," said Sebelius." (Austin Press conference).

Gee, you think you might want to check things out BEFORE the launch?? After all this is a matter of life and death!! How sad is it that the HEAD of Obamacare doesn't attach the same importance to the project as one of the cheerleaders!

Seriously!! LOL

On election day 2012, Obamacare was -7.5% approval in the polls (RCP average of 6 polls). If Obamacare was the main issue in the election Obama would have lost by 7%!

"Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, D-N.H., proposed this week delaying the enrollment period, citing problems with HealthCare.gov. Her plan was quickly endorsed by Democratic Sens. Mark Begich of Alaska, Mark Pryor of Arkansas, and Mary Landrieu of Louisiana. All five Democrats face competitive 2014 re-election races.

Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., said he is drafting a proposal to delay for one year the requirement for individuals to purchase health insurance.

A prominent 2014 Senate Democratic candidate, Michelle Nunn in Georgia, on Thursday endorsed delaying the requirement for individuals to buy insurance." "Sen. Kay Hagan, D-N.C., announced Thursday she supports delaying the enrollment period" (USA Today).

Try again!

More Goosexcrement: A majority of the American People reaffirmed Obamacares in 2012.

HUH? I didn't vote on Obamacare, did the rest of you.

Idiots like subprime IQ barnfowl think BECAUSE Obama got elected, that was an ENDORSEMENT of OBamacare??

Some people LIKE OBama but a significant MAJORITY are OPPOSED to Obamacare.

Can't WAIT until 11/4/2014, you stupid bird brain. ThAT is going to be the referendum on Obamacare.

Which is WHY Obama is scrambling to stir up the controversy on Immigration Reform to change the topic of discussion!!

Greaser, your RACIST CARD is out of funds for the last 5 years.

My subtle reference is to the fact that the COMPANY HIRED to do the work is a CANADIAN company with a HIGH LEVEL Executive black woman who is good friends with Moochella Obama.

CHRONY CAPITALISM!!!

Obamacare Website is Moochella Obama's version of her husband's fiasco, SOLYNDRA.

Throw those crooked money grubbers out of the White House, I could care less if they are WHITE, BLACK or PURPLE.

No bid contract with the peeps money! Would these goberment workers do a no-bid contract on the home they want built? Would they walk into a car dealer and tell them they are not interested in price? Need a house painted and don't discuss price?

Why do the peeps keep letting the goberment run like it does?

"If as many Dem's supported a delay as they do now it may have been a completely different outcome."

Seriously? A majority of Dems voted for Obamacares. A majority of the American People reaffirmed Obamacares in 2012, even as the right wing made it their major selling point of Romoney. So a web site with TEMPORARY and fixable tech issues, on an issue of life and death for many Americans, may have made a change in the outcome of the costly right wing gov shutdown?

Seriously?

Again, seriously?

Hey stupid, your clone right wing extremist teabagger, duhhhhhhhhRAT made the racist statement. So you criticize me for calling his racist statement, racist?

By the way I think things are going rather well. In 2014 right wing extremists, the minority, will hear the majority of this country let you know what they think of right wing ignorance, hate for America and obstructionism. So save this post and reread it after the 2014 elections.

So Sibelius claims that Obama didn't know about the website problems and that Republicans are too blame because of they created a negative political environment. Did the R's hire the IT contractors? Are the R's responsible for not testing the site until the week before the launch?

I think it more likely the admin knew exactly what was going on but didn't want to weaken their position during the debt debate. If as many Dem's supported a delay as they do now it may have been a completely different outcome.

Goosegirl

You liberals always bring out the race card when things aren't going your way. Problem is, no one cares anymore. The word racist has been used so often that it has lost some of its' power.

The fact is that Obama is where he is based on skin color. Is that not racist? Do you think if he looked white and had a name like Barry O'Connor that he would have gotten his name on a single primary ballot?

Wrath-I don't program, either. I do remember reading that, back in the day, programmers at Microsoft could code about 2,000 lines per day. I have to assume that finding errors within existing code is more difficult than writing new code as part of a development project.

Let's use 10 million lines of code and say that a programmer could review and fix maybe 1,000 lines per day.

That means that Microsoft could dedicate 500 programmers to the problem and have it fixed in less than three weeks.

Maybe they should have put this contract out for bid.

Tell us again your hate for Obama is not based on his family being 1/2 black. Racist people like you are not needed in this country and are the soul of the right wing extremists party. Get over it. Thank God you are a minority in this great country you hate so much. Why not just leave? Is that what causes you to be in such a frantic frenzy everyday, that you are a minority? S u c k s to be you.

I don't do business software but I do write embedded software and I can tell you that a system of this magnitude it not going to get corrected completely in time for the registration deadline.

I have read it is between 5 million and 10 MILLION lines of CODE!!!

And THIS time, LOTS of somebodies are going to have read every LINE of ObamacareWEB over and over!!!

SO now OBAMA brought the COUNTRY to a halt and lost, according to the liberals, $24 BILLION of commerce for the USA and 280,000 jobs because HE WOULD NOT NEGOTIATE FOR A DELAY withe the REPUBLICANS??

NOW he will delay it HIMSELF!!!!

The is the most completely incompetent, inept, bubmling, freaking IDIOT who every disgraced the office of the White HOUSE.

Impeach that Ba&&tard now before EVERYBODY ELSE is out of job.

$674 million, Ragnar.

So why didn't they bring in a politically correct minority such as a woman or a better yet a black woman??

OH that is who MESSED IT UP and STUFFED $674 Mil in their pocket???

"First Lady Michelle Obama’s Princeton classmate is a top executive at the company that earned the contract to build the failed Obamacare website.

Toni Townes-Whitley, Princeton class of ’85, is senior vice president at CGI Federal, which earned the no-bid contract to build the $678 million Obamacare enrollment website at Healthcare.gov. CGI Federal is the U.S. arm of a Canadian company.

Townes-Whitley and her Princeton classmate Michelle Obama are both members of the Association of Black Princeton Alumni."

So NOW they bring in the rich white guys in suits to clean up the mess?

$500 million to build a failure of a website?

Microsoft, Apple, Yahoo, Cisco, Intel, Oracle, HP, IBM, Facebook, Google, Ebay and Amazon combined did not require that much capital to get started.

The government is full of incompetent, corrupt, inept, insane officials.
