So easy to accept such flimsy reasoning as the headline would suggest.

There are some politicians and party loyalists - on both sides - that don't give a****about anything except getting re-elected.

There are others, in both parties, that simply have different ideas of what this country should be for those that live here.

While I believe that Conservatives (not RINOs) believe in smaller government, more self-reliance, and reserved state rights, I have yet to understand where the Democrats would like to take the country. In some instances they demand individual rights, in the next they proclaim that the citizens aren't able to decide for themselves and that only the government can provide for their needs.

I just don't get the disconnect. Maybe hoopie, goosey, rocky, or even wonder could explain the Democrat theology.

Call them 'scandals' if you wish, the truth is that this administration is grossly incompetent when it comes to leadership. Moreover, it is a very untruthful administration (both go hand in hand of course).

Beside Obama, the other things going against America are the mass numbers of people on various government welfare rolls and handouts; mass numbers of illegal immigrants flooding the welfare system and also voting; multi-trillion $$$ debt, and finally, a very liberal mass media system that refuses to report the truth but instead report propaganda.

It will likely take a catastrophe or adverse event of epic proportions to shake the nation free from the chains, shackles, and bondage of an ungodly and destructive spirit of liberalism.

When such a woeful event occurs it will be a time of weeping and wailing, and the nation turning to The Almighty, like never before.

I had no idea the U.S. was spying on leader's of ally nations. - Obama

Nobody told me Obamacare would be such a disaster. I just didn't know. - Obama

The outcomes of my policies and agenda are not my fault. - Obama

Get the picture here, folks?

How much more foolish can the nation get? And, speaking of foolish, who is fooling who?

FT . com

Six months ago, Max Baucus, the veteran Democratic senator, said that “Obamacare” – the Affordable Care Act – was a looming “train wreck”. Senior players had privately issued the same warnings in early 2012. The White House also brushed them off. “I tried to tell people at all levels there would be huge problems and they either didn’t listen or got irritated,” says a close ally of President Barack Obama, who works with large healthcare companies. “The White House was programmed to screen out bad news.”

Whether Obamacare’s problems can quickly be resolved, or whether the law is unravelling, it is indelibly linked with Mr Obama’s name.

It is his most cherished accomplishment and it will be his chief legacy. Yet it is only now, almost a month into its disastrous launch, and more than three years since it was enacted, that its implementation has been made a priority.

Yes: private payers will have increases to offset the losses on Medicare and Medicaid. Soon the public will be begging for single pay. Most doctors would prefer single pay now as the paper work is horrific.

Liberal rag LA TIMES:

"Thousands of Californians are discovering what Obamacare will cost them — and many don't like what they see.

These middle-class consumers are staring at hefty increases on their insurance bills as the overhaul remakes the healthcare market. Their rates are rising in large part to help offset the higher costs of covering sicker, poorer people who have been shut out of the system for years.

Although recent criticism of the healthcare law has focused on website glitches and early enrollment snags, experts say sharp price increases for individual policies have the greatest potential to erode public support for President Obama's signature legislation."

Election 2014, anybody_________??

Atoddh, BS! You mean that UN-WHO report that ranks US 27th? The Same UN that nominated Yassar Arafat and Sadam Hussein to the Human Rights Council?

The same UN that is mostly third world countries without flush toilets??

Compare causasians only and the US is right there with every other industrialized nation. In fact, survivability after cancel and heart surgery for whites over 65 is tops in the world.

wraith: actually the US ranks lower than many developed countries in most health care parameters at a much higher price. A national single pay system is in order. Private care could still be available to those who can afford it;as in England. This is already occurring with the so called "concierge" doctors(with the current system.)Most charge around 200/month for "head of the line" service.

oldspam, you mean this?

"(CNN) -- Four days after he was acquitted of murder, George Zimmerman stepped out of seclusion to help a family get out of an overturned vehicle in Florida, authorities said Monday.

Zimmerman and another man helped four people get out of an SUV that had overturned Wednesday evening in Sanford, the same community where the former neighborhood watch volunteer fatally shot teenager Trayvon Martin in 2012, Seminole County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Heather Smith said."

Do you suppose the Founders of America had this kind of goberment in mind? Give to the campaign and receive tax payer funds in return!

I find it funny that after Katrina Bush and FEMA were called everything bad you could think of! When Sandy happened the press was telling us ho much better the "NEW" FEMA/Obama/Fugate (FEMA director) was taking care of business! 1 year after Sandy the response is slower than the Katrina response......

Sandy will become a "pay day" for all the political donors, nothing more nothing less!

I find it amusing that the liberals on this board are so quick to expose their hypocrisy.

They called George Bush every name in the world, did everything they could to undermine him, openly catered to our enemies in a time of war and basically behaved like spoiled children.

President Bush-with the approval of both houses of Congress-went to war with Iraq. When it APPEARED as though things were going bad, liberals jumped ship. They opposed the Surge, which won the conflict.

Later, after calling Bush a moron, idiot, numbskull, etc. they claimed that Bush tricked them and outsmarted them. The irony of those statements is apparently lost on liberals.

President Bush spied on enemies of this country, prosecuted a war, tolerated Gitmo and rendition and used drones and liberals demanded his death and/or war crimes trial.

Obama kills children with drones, spies on his own people and our allies, maintains Gitmo and rendition, bombed non-hostile countries and gets a Nobel.
