Doesn't every contractor working in WV have to have a WV Contractor's License. Companies operating under these licenses would have to report revenues to the state, offset by wages paid.

If those Contractors chose to pay day laborers 'under-the-table' they would show more profit in their business and thus an increased tax basis.

Trust but verify should of been the WV Gov administration on reporting of jobs and taxes instead of going along with industry lobbyists. Trust the people of WV will be the ones who get stuck with all the damages and taxes thanks to this agreement.

WV tax revenues continue to decline thanks to deals the Gov administrations and industry lobbyist are making to keep the information a secret. The State is failing to collect taxes because they do not have the information to tax day workers, independent contractor from the South and accurate well head taxes. Follow the money next election and see where all the out of state money comes from for the election.
