@Alpha-you obviously do not keep as good of track of the posters as you think you do, or you would know that about half the time, I defend the police. (read recent comment on Benwood Police) as well as many others. My comment was NOT derogatory toward police, it was in reference to the article having no details. If you were taking your bi-polar meds you would know that. But funny you did not attack guyonabuffalo or hefners comments that were directed toward police, as you still attack woman-I know, if you take meds you cant carry a gun. Little Alphie, you are a little dog til a big dog comes-everywhere you go. zooman

You are barking up the wrong tree, bloomin. The story is about an underage drinking party. With several high profile deaths from underage drinking, this is a police issue. I don't take offense for the reason you are suggesting. I respect the profession and dislike cop hating as the de facto opinion of some people.

You and pothead are always talking about drugs and synthetic drugs. No stalker here, but if you want to think that, go ahead. I don't want to shatter your illusion and see another meltdown on your part. Seek help for your many issues.

Accoustic-Alphapig is like a hit and run stalker. Sara sure pushed his bacon. Wonder how many school windows he's been peering in lately. I'd bet money on where he works. LOL

The 'reporter' of this non-article needs to learn that newspaper reporting must focus on the 'who, what, where, when, why and how.

This jumble of words is barely back fence gossip

Thats funny, Sara, that cop says the same thing about you. "I dated a pig, once".

At first mention of drugs, bloomin and acoustic pothead were asking where the party was.

What's wrong? Weren't they invited? Obame is making us enemies of the world, our secrets are being broadcast and the police are worried about a party that wasn't reported.

1. Where there persons under 21 years of age consuming alcohol? 2. Where there drugs present? if so, what drugs and how much? 3. Where the homeowner/adult tenants present?

If these answers are yes, then I would say that there was an adult hosted underage drinking party and illegal use of drugs, hosted by adults. Dick Tracey

I’m guessing when they flashed the blue lights all the puking-drunk teenagers running into the woods made them suspicious. But I’m not a detective.

Not enough evidence? Then how do they know there was underage drinking and drugs?

It say's the police were investigating another matter and came across the party ! sounds like they were doing there JOB people. They have a duty to see to the illegal activity that they came across they didn't just go to the party to investigate. If they did nothing then someone would surely raise concern as to WHY the police came across an underage party, ( by the way still undetermined ) and did nothing !! I assure you i'm not the biggest fan of the law enforcement community but at least as adults read the story and THINK as adults before spouting off. And SARA a PIG ? what was he before you went out with him?? guess you wanted THE DOG not the BACON lol

Was there a house party? Were underage people there. Were they drinking or using drugs? Can we just assume anything anywhere? Why is this even news? Are there any legitimate crimes taking place anywhere in WV that our resources would be much better used? When you have so so so so many police officers in one area...they're bound to get bored and start getting creative.

If there was not sufficient evidence at the scene to substantiate charges, surely the state police have more to do than investigate a "possible" house party.

Maybe they were looking for a way to take some of these girls "home". Surprised they didn't plant some evidence.

The PIGS love busting underage drinking parties because it is far more safer and less paperwork intensive than actually taking a dangerous violent felon off the street. Bunch of sissified, pseudo heroes with no 'nads.
