Some liberal posters need an intervention when it comes to the baseless defense of this administration. Like some hardcore drug addicts, I expect them to refuse treatment until it is too late. Can someone coin a term for an Obama-styled intervention?

Yeah wonder we know it's not Obama's program! But the "Lifeline program was started "to ensure that poor people aren't cut off from jobs, families and emergency services" and went from $819 million in 2008 to $2.2 billion last year. So the Obamaphone moniker is well deserved.

Simply put (i.e. so liberals can understand), Rich people tend to live in blue states/big cities. Rich people pay a disproportionately high share of taxes. End of story!

@wonder, Follow the facts!! Our Federal tax system is progressive (i.e. the rich pay a higher share)!

From CNN Money Watch, The rich pay majority of U.S. income taxes By Steve Hargreaves March 12, 2013 "The top 10 percent of taxpayers paid over 70% of the total amount collected in federal income taxes in 2010, the latest year figures are available, according to the Tax Foundation, a think tank that advocates for lower taxes. That's up from 55% in 1986. The remaining 90% bore just under 30% of the tax burden." The richest Americans live in major metro areas/tech/financial/blue state areas! The top ten via CBS Money Watch; 10. Napa, Calif. 9. Boulder, Colo. 8. Boston 7. Thousand Oaks, Calif 6. New York 4. San Francisco 3. Washington, D.C. 2. San Jose 1. Stamford, Conn

Every time you bring up the Red State/Blue State myth you just reinforce the fact that the wealthy do indeed pay the biggest share of federal tax revenue.

wonderwhiner, that red-state-blue-state canard has been debunked and explained to you many times. Get a fourth grader to explain it to you. Or go into the inner city in one of those big-city blue states and take a look around. Food stamps and Obamaphones for as far as the eye can see. No wonder they're blue. LOL

When K S was grilled about this same topic yesterday, she did not deny it one bit. She was hoping that if the web site went on line as scheduled it (security) would be a small matter and overlooked. If not, the usual racist or extremist claim will be levied against all opposed.

There probably are a few patriotic Democrats left. Unfortunately they’re all dumber than a box of rocks. They couldn’t confront a McDonalds cashier about the price of a Big Mac. The Democrat Party is dead. Nothing left but “Progressive” socialist hijackers enriching themselves on “hope and change” pork and “yes we can” kickbacks. Harry Truman is rolling over in his grave.

It amazes me the ignorance of the Democrat party. They are allowing Obama to completely destroy our nation while posturing as a Democrat. Obama is a dangerous man with no loyalty to anything beyond his Muslim self. It is the ignorant and society sucking parasites that flock to Obama, but somewhere in the Democrat Party there must be someone with yet a smidgen of patriotic duty and pride left with which to confront this egomaniac.

Goosewhiner “Why no comments made by Dems at the hearing are being published?”

Couldn’t you find any on HufferPo? DailyKKKos? DemoratUnderground? Wonder why the liberal-“Progressive” media is burying the Congressional investigation into Barry Obribery’s “It depends on what the meaning of the word ‘Period!’ is” Lie To America? Right, Goosy. Move on... LOL

mmm mmm mmm, take a pill

"In yet another conflict-riddled Capitol Hill hearing, a congressman told Sebelius that she had put Americans' personal financial information at risk."

Any proof of that? No there is none.

No wonder most comments on the NR show ignorance. The NR feeds them misinformation daily.

Funny how no examples of the new fake scare are available. Who had their financial information exposed? No one.

Nothing to see here. Move on.

Why no comments made by Dems at the hearing are being published? Yea, wouldnt want to continue that embarrassment of a hearing for the teabaggers.
