November 6, 2013

In a way, the train wreck that is the Obamacare website has been a godsend to the White House. It has distracted attention away from the national health care law’s many other flaws....

From former Democratic Presidential candidate Howard Dean, "One major problem is the so-called Independent Payment Advisory Board. The IPAB is essentially a health-care rationing body. By setting doctor reimbursement rates for Medicare and determining which procedures and drugs will be covered and at what price, the IPAB will be able to stop certain treatments its members do not favor by simply setting rates to levels where no doctor or hospital will perform them. There does have to be control of costs in our health-care system. However, rate setting—the essential mechanism of the IPAB—has a 40-year track record of failure."

Birdie, in case you haven't heard, the existing problem program has already run through it's budget for the year and has closed down.

Rahm Emanual's brother has been an advisor on this mess from the beginning. He is an outspoken, published and widely quoted advocate of the "take the little pill, lie down and relax for eternity" school of medical practice.

Don't think so? Better not go into a coma in most countries in Europe. You won't be in it for long.

Obama's unelected "Independent Payment Advisory Board" - 15 bureaucrats who will be in charge of rationing health care for Medicare recipients by cutting doctor reimbursements, all with ZERO accountability to the American people. Death Panels, coined by Sarah Palin and confirmed by Howard Dean. Now that's bipartisanship. The name fits, now have fun owning it Democrats.

Of course the Obamascam Bill doesn’t call it a “Death Panel.” The “progressives” prefer the innocuous title Independent Payment Advisory Board. That’s the Government board of Presidential appointees, as specified in sections 3403 and 10320 of the so-called Affordable Care Act, responsible for controlling ACA costs by denying health care to Americans the Board deems “ineffective use of resources.” Those would mostly be senior citizens who the IPAB decides are not worth the expense to provide more expensive treatments. They’re the citizens Obama advised, “Maybe you're better off not having the surgery, but taking the pain killer.”

No, Goosy. No “Death Panel.” Just an IPAB that will let you know what health care you deserve. mmm mmm mmm...

Reminds me of the Romoney lie that took Obamas words out of context, completely, and told the morons, "he said you didnt build that". Well any average IQ person who listened to his speech, would know he was talking about roads, bridges and not about people. BUT, again, leaders of the morons spread that lie, the hair on fire group repeated, repeated, repeated and then believed the lie.

You can keep the low information crowd wound up to populate public message boards with hysteria, falsehoods, hate, narcissism, racist and anti-American rhetoric, BUT how is that working out for the far right at election time? Not so good? Gee, wonderwhy?

Its impossible to get reasonable responses to reasonable posts around the NR site. Wonderwhy?

Did the far right wing extremists lie when they spread the "Death Panels" hate? Why yes they did. And they laughed because they knew all the hair on fire crowd would simply repeat, repeat, repeat and then believe there would be death panels. Do some research yourself and you will find that hateful lie has been debunked over and over. But watch the morons here continue to post that as though factual.

Gooseman thinks it’s a great idea to burn down the entire apartment building because one apartment’s heater is broken. At least that poor family in 7C will be warm for a while...

Gooseman - what will you tell that family with two children when the parents' existing health insurance is cancelled, their "marketplace" options are double the cost of what they already had, and their kids are #142 and #143 in line to see a doctor they've never met. How about "welcome to the Democrat party."

Tell that to the family with two children with pre-existing conditions who could not get health insurance for their kids, before Obamacares. And now has health insurance for their kids.
