And that is difference in Wellsburg and Bellaire, in Brooke County they embrace education as a positive. Complaining that only a couple of thousand people voted is pointless. If it was controversial more would have voted. If your belief education was wasteful was true, more would have voted against it. They buy that negative nanny stuff in Bellaire and are crushing their community, not so in Brooke and Hancock counties. There are legit concerns over administration of funds, there always are and there are ways to deal with that. Elections work and those who work the most win the elections. Lets not assume that all people are too stupid to understand the election. People get a chance to vote on the levies and the membership of the Board that administers the money. So if those elected and the levy. If elections don't work for you, then perhaps you are in a very small minority of people who disagree with modern education. The people get chances to make changes, they choose not to.

Sad state of affairs when less than 2000 voters in the whole county turned out to vote on an issue that will enable the Brooke Co. Brd of Educat. to continue on their wasteful ways.
