Global warming-aggravated by coal burning- is predicted to increase violent weather patterns. This is happening. Weather is being disrupted; abnormal and extreme. Look for China to ramp up nuclear power vs coal soon.

Atoddh, Explain the lack of major hurricanes in the Atlantic basin over the past 7 years?

BTW, vehicles spew more "global" warming gasses than coal fired electric generating plants, still driving that Buick?

You also ask if burning coal for electric is "worth it!" Tell me the next time you go a day without using electricity.....

folks: understand this severity of storm -and those like it in the future- are a direct result of burning coal for power: global warming. Is it worth it?? Look for a global ban on coal plants soon.

Looters in New Orleans and New York take tv's and computers.....
