Melvin, Melvin, Melvin, Teachers are like College and Pro Athletes who get SUSPENDED for illegal drugs. The teams may punish them but the legal system never does unless they get them first. LOL

You would wonder that if someone is getting three days off without pay if anyone should report this to the county prosecutor for investigation.

What do you really expect when you elect 35% of your sitting legislature and they are teachers, ex-teachers or the spouse of a teacher?

Who represents Marshall COunty in the State House of Delegates?

I sure hope Mr. Hince comments - I agree 100 percent - they need to let the tax payers in on more than they do

Private arrested citizens get their pictures and misdeeds published monthly in a widely circulated tabloid whether they are guilty or innocent, but we can't get the name or act of a suspended public school teacher who we pay. What say you MR. HINCE?

I am asking for anyone who might know of anyone that can be called or a letter can be sent to that will LISTEN and be able to help when it comes to this - Why are they able to do what they want hide things from the tax payers - hide information from the tax payers and they think it is ok and WE the tax payers know is isn't ok and they are like what do we care what the tax paying people think ! We can do what we want and we don't have to answer to anyone - WHY is that !! I need help in locating the right person to help !! Anything anyone can offer I would appreciate - It is to bad we the tax paying people of Marshall County can't impeach the whole bunch of them !! Thank You !!

Wow this is amazing - Yes we are the tax paying citizens and yes we are not aloud to know anything ! We the people don't have a chance with this bunch - there is not one person there that is qualified to hire anyone - the assistant superintendent/personnel director is a joke - I bet there was someone applying that he and his secretary didn't like and they shredded their material and lied as only they can do - the personnel director isn't qualified to hire a rabbit to pop out of a hat but when you have best friend's aka the board members/the new superintendent what kind of skills do you need !! So we now of a new personnel director and he was promised superintendent and so he didn't get that, so the backup prize he gets the position of hiring people and what in his qualifications that makes him qualified - I hope Cameron and all Marshall County Schools can get the very very best for all the children of Marshall County - But with this bunch and no hope in sight I fear for all of them !

I am so sick of these PUBLIC SERVANTS whose salaries are paid for by the taxpayers hiding matters behind the veil of "executive sessions" and "personnel matters".

Accountability no longer exists.

What do kids need math for. All they need to know is that everything is FREE and that their government will take care of their every need from womb to the tomb.

Welcome to the "new" America...

"The board also unanimously voted to suspend a teacher for three days without pay after going into executive session for approximately 20 minutes. Superintendent Michael Hince said the county is not releasing the name of the employee and would not comment on the nature of the incident, stating it is a personnel matter."

When you receive 100% tax payer funding....
