Anyone who did not expect some adjustments when we went into the Big 12 was not being realistic. There was no doubt that we had to go there as the ACC and SEC would not have us. Can you imagine what our season would have been like if we were trying to fit into the SEC? There was no staying what is now the AAF (which is scheduled to lose more teams). WVU football is a cash cow and the cash comes from TV not the gates. Even losing in the Big 12 will give us more revenue than sweeping the AAF. If Halgorson cannot win next year or not later than the one after that he will have to go, but he is probably the best person to have gone with us into the Big 12 where he coached successfully for many years. Losing stinks but we have to get better not look for easier places to play. After this year the AAF conference will be lesser than the MAC and C-USA. It was Big 12 or oblivion. We can hack it, need recruits (we are heavily JUCO this year). Change is hard especially for fickle fans.
