The Biggert-Waters (Maxine Waters, ultra-liberal) was passed to make those evil rich dudes pay more for living in a flood zone! The results will be that many middle-income people that live in the flood zone will be on the hook for the new premium. Since the late 60's this flood insurance was supplemented by the tax payers that do NOT live in flood zones!

Do the tax payers supplement my homeowners insurance?

The chickens are home to roost.....

Yes Dying, you partisan goof, and without this bill, we will continue to subsidize people who live in flood zones. As for your stupid characterization of Ms. Waters, as "ultra-liberal, my response is, "so what!" Better than the ultra-conservative creeps you support.

If you choose to take the risks associated with living in a flood zone, YOU should pay for it.

Why should I subsidize your decision?
