topofthehill, thank you for your service. Clearly you've never met Michael. I knew him and his parents before his tour in Iraq and trust me, his actions were so far from the norm that everyone who ever knew him thought it was a mistake in identity. The issue here is obvious to anyone who knows him.

O'Neill said a July 16, 2012, search of Frank's home turned up multiple loaded weapons, including an AR-15 rifle, a bulletproof vest and helmet and a set of "flex cuffs," found in an arrangement that indicated the items were intended to be "put on and put into action in a quick manner, which was cause for alarm."

They are ALL legal to own and having them ready so that you can use them to DEFEND your life or your family is no crime!!!

His fatal mistake was sending arms to Israel!!

Had be been sending arms to terrorist nations, Obama would have called a press conference and decorated him on worldwide tv!!!

I am not sure that I see his crime anywhere near what the Obama administration did by shipping millions of dollars of US arms (including explosives and surface to air shoulder fired missiles) to the Muslim Brotherhood and AlQuida units in Syria even after the UN had placed an arms embargo on the area to limit the violence. So if the White House can illegally send arms to the area, at our expense where is that case? As for this guy, I don't buy his excuses for what he did but in a national climate where the gov is totally out of control and doing the same thing his prosecution should be followed by one on the President and his advisers. Hillary announced $250 million in aid to the "rebels" the day she stepped down as Sec of State. Euro press says that Kofi Anin (??) UN Sec resigned in frustration over Syria because Obama repeatedly violated the UN arms embargo and increased the violence there. What a great story all of this would be if we had a true US press.
