hoopie, the article says these activities took place during 2002 to 2006 under Bush. Are you defending Bush’s activities by pointing out Reagan’s activities? I didn’t realize you were such a big Bush supporter. LOL

By the way, hoopie, remember Obamboozler’s 2008 campaign promise “As President, I will close Guantanamo”? Five years later, how’s that coming along? I’ll bet you’re furious about that broken Obamapromise.

Obtain all information from captive terrorist in that theater and then dispose of them. They never needed to be in Gitmo in the first place.

After spending 20 years in the military. I still feel that transparancy in our GOVT is good for some things. But, still believe that giving too much information just leads to discontent by many who truly dont understand the overall purpose to a certain action. Sometimes ignorance is bliss. Just saying.

Ronald Reagan did similar things during his Presidency. Reagan was friendly with rogue nations to get what he wanted. Remember the Iran Contra affair?

There is that risk but at the same time it appears that this kind of intel is what may be helping to locate targets for drones. Its a calculated risk for sure but we don't know if they were doing this with high profile terrorists or just the slugs who do the heavy lifting in AlQuida units. In total, military intelligence has done a pretty good job locating targets. As for these people being "known killers" they may not be that, if so they would likely be prosecuted. A lot of people in Gitmo are foot soldiers and if they use those there is less risk of them turning back again. But in terms of concern don't forget that Obama wanted to send them all back to their countries when he took office, in fact it was his FIRST EXECUTIVE ORDER after taking command. His very first, his highest priority and yet never mentioned that once in his campaign. First big lie didn't take long to surface did it?

Lets be clear. CIA sent known killers of Americans back to their homeland to inform on other "known killers" of Americans so air strikes by our country could kill the other "known killers" Anyone see the possible problem with this? Like maybe the person being released and sent home might just inform on the wrong person to get him and his family blown up and to help cause more hate of the "Evil Americans" This is so messed up. The continual wars of America will come to an end someday. But when?
