DONALDO- They recruit for quality not caring ehere they are from. Big names and quality brings in viewers and this is money, which 80% of college sports is about.

It's difficult to remain loyal to a state university's athletic teams when the majority of its player are from out-of-state. If only we would spend so much time attracting out-of-state scholars and professors.

There was a time when I was interested in college and ro "SPORTS" Now, I am interested only who won the pro game. Collecge sports are OK, but the smaller schools put on a much better show. Most football players look like walking tanks. I don't see how they can get injured, but when they do, everyone wants to change the game rules.

With nationwide recruiting of potential team members aggressively engaged in at all costs...see inducements, enticements

With visions of grandeur and godliness lauded onto these potential team members, and then onto them during their college careers as they focus to pro status..

With ticket and associated game day costs prohibiting many young fans from any chance to attend..

Its a thin line between academic capitalism he11bent on bottom lines and its athlete/commodities.
