December 24, 2013

ONOLULU — He won’t use it, and he didn’t actually sign up for it himself, but President Barack Obama has enrolled for health coverage through the new insurance exchanges. Announcing his enrollment Monday, the White Housecalled it a symbolic show of Obama’s support for the fledgling exchanges where millions of Americans must buy insurance or face a penalty. Ironically, it also served as a reminder of just how complex and sometimes daunting the process can be.

<<< Obama, like so many other Americans, couldn’t use the website.>>>

“The complicated nature of the president’s case required an in-person sign-up,” the White House said."

According to the survey of cancer survival rates in Europe and the United States, published recently in Lancet Oncology :

• American women have a 63 percent chance of living at least five years after a cancer diagnosis, compared to 56 percent for European women.

• American men have a five-year survival rate of 66 percent — compared to only 47 percent for European men.

• Among European countries, only Sweden has an overall survival rate for men of more than 60 percent.

• For women, only three European countries (Sweden, Belgium and Switzerland) have an overall survival rate of more than 60 percent.

The same bunch of UN clowns whose peace keeping troops raped and savaged the women of the African countries they were SUPPOSED to protect!!!

The same UN that refused to rescue our troops in Black Down fiasco.

"...babble has been in a bubble not to know"

oh, sorry, you need that broken

The US does not rank as the best health care system in the world by any standard.

WHO standards for infant mortality, heart and cancer treatments, life expectancy, etc find the US from 6th to 26th

Bloomberg News reports that on costs and efficiency...46th.

RockE, your “38th in life expectancy” babble has been debunked so many times you have to be living in a bubble not to know. Eliminate factors unrelated to health care, like homicide, suicide, accidents, and self-inflicted health problems (your inner city left wing Obamabangers, morbidly obese from overuse of food stamps, falling out of car doors during driveby shootings would be an example) and the USA is NUMBER ONE in health care. As cancer survival rates demonstrate.

We’re NUMBER ONE! We’re NUMBER ONE! (regardless of what liberal “USA 38th” America bashers want you to believe)

"The best health care system in the world is shared by about 80% of the population"!!!

...gotta burst your daily delusional bubble, bubble boy

Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development says its the eighth lowest life expectancy

The Commonwealth Fund says its the most expensive

Can you spell a ranking of 38th by the World Health Organization

"Republicans have taken a three-point lead on the Generic Congressional Ballot for the week ending December 22.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 42% of Likely U.S. Voters would vote for the Republican in their district’s congressional race if the election were held today, while 39% would choose the Democrat instead. The previous week, the two parties ran dead even with 40% support each. "

Keep talking Opie, keep Telling us how good Obamacare is..... while you bask in the sun of Hawaii and the rest of the country shivers.

So 4nikationReputatoin would prefer we have the worst health care that money can buy???

The best health care system in the world is shared by about 80% of the population.

And ANYONE can go to an emergency room and use it.

Name ONE other country that can make that claim???

The inherent virtue of socialism is the equal sharing of miseries."

OK, so it was so tough, OBAMA had to have HIS STAFF ENROLL HIM!!!

BUT! The enrollment doesn't really count because HE gets HIS INSURANCE directly from his EMPLOYER, not OBAMACARE.

Obama's "personal information is not readily available in the government databases used to verify identities."

Of course it is. His birth records are kept under high security somewhere in Hawaii, his Social Security records are in a desk drawer somewhere in Connecticut, his education and employment records are on Julian Assange's closed Facebook account, and his passport and medical records are on a flash drive Edward Snowden gave to "Vasily" at the Kremlin. Should be easy to verify Barry's identity. After all, he's the President. What, do you think we elected a stranger?

Given the season, a top headline The War on Christmas seems more know, a subject that the right can excel on...that rightwing-think:

The US excels in having the best healthcare in the world if one can pay for it.

Our justice system excels when you hire an expensive lawyer.

Our Democracy excels due to Citizens United for the casue of highest bidder-ship.

"President Obama enrolled over the weekend for insurance under the Affordable Care Act, the White House said Monday.

The president, who is vacationing in Hawaii with his family, was enrolled in ObamaCare BY HIS STAFF.<<<<<----

White House officials said staffers enrolled the president through the District of Columbia exchange and needed to make the transaction in person -- not through the website -- because his personal information is not readily available in the government databases used to verify identities.

Obama was enrolled before the midnight Monday deadline to get coverage starting Jan. 1, ended speculation about when he would enroll.

The White House said the president's enrollment was “symbolic” because he is among the 85 percent of Americans who already get their health insurance through an employer and that he receives health care from the military -- like previous presidents.

I thought ACA was the LAW of the LAND??

So then How does Santa Claus in Chief get to change its terms?

"In other news, Obama announced effective Jan. 2, the First and Second Amendments to the Constitution will no longer apply.

If you have any complaints, you will be imprisoned in the nearest FEMA emergency camp."

Her eyes were glazed over, fingers nimble and lean,

From weekends and nites in front of a screen.

A wink of her eye and a twitch of her head,

Soon gave me to know ACA had nothing to dread.

She spoke not a word, but went straight to her work,

Turning specs into code; then turned with a jerk.

And laying her finger upon the “ENTER” key,

The system came up and worked perfectly.

The updates updated; the deletes, they deleted;

The inquiries inquired, and closings completed.

She tested each whistle, and tested each bell,

With nary a bomb, and all had gone well.

The system was finished, the tests were concluded,

The users’ last changes were even included.

And the customer exclaimed with a snarl and said “Good LORD”,

“I thought ACA was cheap, this is a pile of crap I cannot AFFORD!”

BBBWHAHAHAHAH! Merry Christ-mas!

T‘was the nite before Obamacare Deadline and all through the White house,

Not a program was working, not even a browse.

The programmers hung by their cubicles in despair,

With hopes that a miracle soon would be there.

The users were nestled all snug in their beds,

While visions of Penalties danced in their heads.

When out in the machine room there arose such a clatter,

I sprang from my desk to see what was the matter.

And what to my wondering eyes should appear,

But a super programmer with a six-pack of beer !

Her resume glowed with experience so rare,

She turned out great code with a bit-pusher’s flair.

More rapid than eagles, her programs they came,

And she cursed and muttered and called them by name.

On Update! On Add! On Inquiry! On Delete!

On Batch Jobs! On Closings! On Functions Complete!

From the article “The administration was careful not to characterize Tuesday as a new deadline or an extension, likening the move instead to the Election Day practice in which people who are in line when the polls close are still allowed to vote.”

LOL So all of you who are currently in violation of the Federal Obamascam health tax law, we’re going to give you ONE MORE CHANCE to give your personal identifying information to an unknown “navigator” who never had as much as a police background check, who will post it on a “glitchy” unsecure website, so you can pay for insurance you don’t want, that covers medical treatments you don’t need. And we’re really really really really really serious this time... Period.
