Make Dog Park Priority for 2014

Let’s hope the local community’s bark regarding the need for a dog park in Wheeling is not worse than its bite in establishing one....

Fritz43- wheeling has nothing but empty lots. Why not throw a fence up and let people take their dogs there. Ain't nothing else building in Wheeling. Don't like it, don't go there.

Maybe they could put the dog park next to the animal shelter? Make it a "scared straight" experience for the visiting dogs...

Dog park? Are you serious? Before that, let's make sure that *ALL* animal shelters are not just another word for slaughterhouse.

Sara- I would travel many miles just so my dog could communicate with other dogs and reproduce.

richardwee wonders why the area has seen so much decline while he makes fun of an attraction that could only serve to make the place a nicer community in which to live. No wonder we can't get out of this quagmire.......
