As we have seen already, obie's " shovel-ready jobs" were a flat lie. He got almost a trillion for stimulus. Seen any stimulus-related improvement in the economy?

That said, having more road crews with one guy working and five watching doesn't do much good either. Honest, efficient government would be great. Problem is, often it's one or the other, and usually neither.

OhioDum, leave it to a dumbocrat to criticize one of the few things that has had a huge positive effect on the national economy. Find any trucker that drives long hauls on both interstates and normal country highways, and you want to stop paying to maintain the system. Be prepared to duck.

The President has had a jobs bill that your Rep. McKinley voted against. It would put thousands of people to work fixing and replacing bridges, water and sewer lines and highways. The Republican supported that before, the interstate highway system was Eisenhouers program. Today if Obama wants anything the Republicans oppose it even if it punishes their own state.

already been raining*****about the roads for 10-years.. WVDOT & all of the elected reps indicate that the roads are fine..- Edgell even said that the roads are in Beautiful/Wonderful condition..& Pethtel indicated a few years ago that 'They' were All Over the problem.. - all while literally and actually placing 'warning/caution' signs right in the*******pavement/lane driven right into the road surface. WVDOT's Blue-Ribbon committee Clements is all over the problems also..hah..
