I'm just glad they weren't too hard on their scapegoat. Now she can get back to the important job of teaching, and the rest of the town can get back to what's most important - Big Red football.

Sure. She regrets her action or lack of action now. The problem is, the same with most. No one wants to get involved or to think of having a moral obligation to act.
