@RocksInTheHead:You should worry more about getting your head out of Obama's backside than a GOPeer with his foot in his mouth. You and your assessment of the GOP is just like you, it ***** like a Hoover. Seeing that you are a staunch Dumbocrap we cannot expect any good out of you or your ilk. Obozo has ran this country into the ground and idiots like you support him. You and all Americans better get woke up and start moving before it is entirely to late. We are on a downward spiral because of out Liar-In-Chief, Barack H.Doolittle.

Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa) on Tuesday called President Barack Obama’s plan to sign an executive order to raise the minimum wage for federal contract workers a “constitutional violation.”

King told CNN’s “New Day” that the news from the White House that Obama will announce during Tuesday night’s State of the Union address that he’s raising the minimum wage for employees under new federal contracts to $10.10 an hour is a clear example of the president going beyond the bounds of the Constitution.

“I think it’s a constitutional violation,” King said. “We have a minimum wage. Congress has set it.

For the president to simply declare ‘I’m going to change this law that Congress has passed,’ is unconstitutional. He’s outside the bounds of his Article II limitations.”

oldman, some Executive Orders fall within the Constitutionally-granted powers of the President, and some don't. Your Chooming Constitutional Scholar knows even less about that than you do. LOL

Obama has a lot of executive orders to use before he has as many as Reagan or either Bush. You righties must really think they were dictators. You can't have it both ways.

"Earlier in the day, the president let his frustration over the stalled debt talks seep into an address on Latino issues, confessing that he’d like to “bypass Congress and change the laws on my own.”

He told the National Council of La Raza, “Believe me, the idea of doing things on my own is very tempting. I promise you.”

“I’m confident that there’s some steps that we can take that don’t require legislation and that are within my authority as president. And where you get a step that has the opportunity to reduce the possibility of gun violence then I want to go ahead and take it.”

In keeping with M.O. around here I guess a headline of "NR-will go around the facts" is pertinent.

2009 deficit 1.5 trillion (1,500 billion) and in 2013 685 billion! The deficit was reduced more than any other time in US history! 685 billion in 2013 is the 5 most ever, the other 4 2009,2010, 2011 and 2012!

So that 900+ billion stimulus propped-up he 1%ers with 35% increase in income and during the same period (nomommas presidency) the 99%ers income increased 0.4% yes that is a 0 before the decimal!

Since wraifferbait is a current affairs moron as to the reality of the moment, and since the deficit has fallen faster under Obama than at any period in 60 years, and since the GOPeers have no umph! candidate to oppose Hillary in 2016, this noveau tea banger GOP facade needs to*****it up and realize the fact that the reality of their impotence as to the future of the US is engrained in stone.

NO ICECREAM as usual you prove that you are a liberal because you have no grasp of the facts.

Or a typical liberal you MAKE UP YOUR FACTS to fit the situation.

That is why debate with liberals here is virtually impossible.

There can be Hundreds of Opinions but only ONE set of facts. Now facts can be SPUN a bit but FACTS are FACTS.

SPECIFY what I stated that is incorrect. You OF COURSE know I can back them up and make you look like a fool as usual.

"When American jobs and livelihoods depend on getting something done, he will not wait for Congress." Obama Adviser Dan Pfeiffer

What the F has he done for Americans and jobs?....Oh, that's right, more food stamps, more welfare, increasing his voting block. He had better increase his voting block, he clearly is losing the Millennials and Independents.

So icecream, you deny there’s a US Senate? You deny the Senate must ALSO act to pass laws in Congress? You deny that Senate has been DEMORAT majority-controlled for the LAST SEVEN YEARS?

You deny Barry Obamboozler has racked up 7 TRILLION in debt over his five years in office – more than ANY OTHER PRESIDENT? That figure INCLUDING BOTH the Iraq and Afghanistan wars? You deny facts that Barry Obamboozler’s own US Treasury website prove to be true?

Don’t worry, icecream. We’re not trying to change your mind or convince you of anything. You’re clearly too ignorant and ideological to be convinced of anything, no matter how clear and convincing the evidence we present. We’re simply using your ridiculous posts to point out what fools liberal “Progressives” are, how corrupt their policies and morals are, how wrong their beliefs are.

Thanks for being a useful idiot for us, icecream. LOL

No, no direct quotes from the Obamboozler himself. But his spokesmen made it clear that his administration won't be hindered by any silly Constitutional requirements.
