So the states take "advantage" of the system they are a big part of!

"The final savings in the food stamp program would come from cracking down on some states that seek to boost individual food stamp benefits by giving people small amounts of federal heating assistance that they don't need."

Farm subsidizes were started in the 1930's as a result of the "Dust Bowl" (Sunday might be the Snow Bowl). I would give the people credit for helping the dust bowl era farmers out in time of great need. Fast forward 80 years and the program is abused and just a easy way to steal tax payer money in the name of "program!"

Food stamps, heating assistance, etc. Must be nice. What the h e ll do I get but ever increasing costs to subsidize this crap?
