Want to cut the budget big time? Do away with appointed jobs and make a change in the WV Constitutions that the Legislature only meets every two years, Texas does it. I can live without more laws and taxes the legislature comes up with every year. We vote for representation and the Governor appoints Bowman to be the representation. Too much representation, too much cost, too many layers of government and too many taxes to support the government by the people or is it by special interest.

Over-react much? I have an idea for you, create a true and non destructive industry for the good citizens to engage in and work at. There is no guarantee with addiction.

vincy, Your boy Tomblin owned a video machine business back in the 90's. Do you remember the grey machines and that they were for "entertainment" only? No money was being made on these machines, said so right on the front, "No payouts!" As the bar keep handed you cash took his cut and the machine owners collected at the end of the week! Nothing was going on then, move along!

Tomblin's family receives breeders funding (His mother is likely getting ready to retire). Tomblin receives campaign donations from the breeders peeps! Time to turn on the breeders (don't need them like we use to) now that we have the gassers giving to the campaign!

I know it's hard for you to put it all together......

A CAROUSEL OF GREED! The Baird family has probably made millions in purses and breeders fund handouts and now cries poverty. I expect that former Senator Bowman, now employed by Earl Ray Tomblin will support the Governor's Bill. Commissioner Greathouse needs to be told the party's over. For too long, Mountaineer Park passed out jobs, sweetheart deals, steak & lobster as political favors.
