Choker, unfortunately for you that CBO report does not come in a Muppets pop-up edition. So you'll have to get your preschool teacher to explain it to you... LOL

Exactly right, caltrans. Here it is.

cbo.g ov/sites/default/files/cbofiles/attachments/45010-Outlook2014.pdf

In it, you’ll read this: CBO report, The Budget and Economic Outlook: 2014 to 2024, page 117, “How Much Will the ACA Reduce Employment in the Longer Term? ... The reduction in CBO’s projections of hours worked represents a decline in the number of full-time-equivalent workers of about 2.0 million in 2017, rising to about 2.5 million in 2024. Although CBO projects that total employment (and compensation) will increase over the coming decade, that increase will be smaller than it would have been in the absence of the ACA.”

So the CBO report clearly says in black and white that the ACA result in a SMALLER job creation rate than we would have had without the ACA. Get your nose out of the Hufferton Post and the Daily Kos and read the bad news right from the CBO report for yourselves, libbies.

Nice right wing spin on the Report. Try reading it, not what someone says about it.

Want to know how each President stacks up on national debt? You can see the REAL data at the US Treasury website.

w ww.treasurydirect.g ov/govt/reports/pd/mspd/mspd.htm

Or you can listen to a demented oldman rave about "Repugs." Easier and far more entertaining, but not very informative. LOL

At least my employer takes his boot off my throat long enough for me to cash that paycheck he gives me every Friday. LOL

oldman, maybe you need to find an employer who wears softer shoes. Or you could just quit your job and live as a parasite on welfare, food stamps, unemployment, disability, housing subsidies, and Obamacare paid for by REAL Americans. You know, do what your Throat Booter in Chief is doing everything in his constitutional power - and beyond his constitutional power - to convince you to do.

mmm mmm mmm, more Kool-Aid please

Another great feature of Obama care. It takes the employers boot off the employees throat. I wish I had had that freedom years ago. Thanks President Obama.

This from a sister boy who soiled himself at the thought of ever donning a uniform to serve the America he wears on his limp wrist sleeve. Unworthy to even work as cleanup boy in a dog park!

After FIVE YEARS of Demorat "solutions," the number of Americans surviving on Food Stamps MORE THAN DOUBLED to a RECORD 48 MILLION.

After FIVE YEARS of Demorat "solutions," the rate of participation in the US labor force DOWN to a pathetic 63%.

After FIVE YEARS of Demorat "solutions," the national debt EXPLODING to a future-crushing $17.3 TRILLION – more debt in one term than ANY OTHER ADMINISTRATION in history.

After FIVE YEARS of Demorat “solutions,” 7 MILLION Americans thrown OFF their health insurance plans, even after Barry Obamboozler told them they “could keep it, PERIOD.” LIE OF THE YEAR by the US President.

It’s crystal clear that America has had ENOUGH of your Demorat “solutions.”

I know. "But BUUUUSH!"

Pathetic, Dems. You have no place in America. Because that is not who Americans are.

Bush,

An interesting quote from the article you cited! "Now, it’s true that elsewhere in his testimony — when questioned by Paul Ryan — Elmendorf confirmed that the subsidies from Obamacare would reduce the incentive to work, and that this would reduce economic growth."

Thanks for bringing that point to light!

I don't understand why the massive joblessness that will result from the Obamascam is such a surprise. Conservatives have been warning America about this for at least five years.

It's the latest indication that "the president's health care law is destroying full-time jobs.

Why should anyone marvel at this? Everything this guy touches turns to rust; a human wrecking ball indeed.

Just 3 more years to 'finish the job'.

Benjamin Franklin, aka “Poor Richard,” would have disagreed with you.

And if you have a complaint about the actual content of the editorial you can send your silly “handed down upon high financed by a corrupt cheap skate who kowtows to a coal baron with blood on his hands” babble to the Executive Editor at the email address he posted at the Contact Us link. I’m sure he’d appreciate the laugh. LOL

Bush, I think your right on this one. Unemployment rates will drop due to people exiting the labor force much in the way the unemployment has dropped over the last few years.

This is indicated on the first page of the latest CBO report. See the graph named "Labor Force Participation Rate"

From page 33 of the report, "The labor force participation rate (the percentage of people in the civilian noninstitutionalized population age 16 or older who are either working or are available for and actively seeking work), which has been pushed down by an unusually large number of people deciding not to look for work because of a lack of job opportunities, will move only slowly back toward the level it would be without the cyclical weakness in the economy."

The number of people participating in the labor force is at an all time low and Obamacare will only make that worse.
