WV is going to have to take a serious look at spending. Higher ed- as an example- is very bloated for a State with less than 2 million. Most of the grads depart WV. Some of the State schools need to be closed.

The Legislature itself is bloated and very expensive for a small poor State.

Coal is dying. There is little left. Gaming is declining. No effort is being made to foster new industry.

The status quo will not work much longer.

why cant state officials enforce the collection of sales taxes on internet purchases. That would equate to billions of dollars. not just a couple hundred million.
