To start final leg day ahead of schedule

@atoddh. There is also an abundance of coal. How about you and Obozo leave the coal miners alone and let them keep their jobs, but neither one of you could care less.Coal has been burned for years and years and it is still needed Obozo can stick his wind power also. Left wing liberals only think about taking away jobs. What a joke!

I hope those salivating, failure-mongers saved the receipts for their party hats. Or, maybe they're actually happy they were flat-out wrong, and we'll be hearing from them soon… ?

But wait, there's more.

ChokingOinker “This is a bad idea. Roads are now very unstable after/during this very rough winter season. Hang on to your teabags.”

UNCOMMONSENSE “Yet another factor these rocket scientists didn't plan for is that overhead lines are only required to be 18 feet above the road and I would imagine there are quite a few that are lower than that along the way... WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG?? LOL!”

wonderwhiner “It's been re routed. Causing major traffic tie up. Imagine that!”

dyingov “What would they do with 10 inches of snow?”

wonderwhiner “Since 510,000 lbs just traveled to the site, if the roads took a beating, who will pay for that?”

wonderwhiner “So you think the taxpayers should pay for damage?”

F15Eagle “that should get interesting.ay..- crackerJack Injuneers probably figured it out to a T...heh. We'll see..”

Yeah, I guess we saw. yawn...

Now that the superload made the four-day trip without a hitch in only three days, let’s look back at some of the more entertaining whines of the past week:

uglyazzmf “Of course it's going to cause problems.”

wvhoopie “There are some butt kissing turns going up to Fork Ridge.”

acousticportal “How exactly is this going to sit at the Butch's Corner intersection? This is a massive fail and inconvenience.”

ChokingOinker “GOOD LUCK WITH THAT. Is Nutting sacred??? OINK!”

mkhunt “Did Williams post bond?”

acousticportal “Sorry fellas...the terrain's a little different than in Texas.”

wvujazzy “Countless police escorts for four days, backup traffic flow jeopardizing peoples lives and livelihood and the damage to the roads isn't worth this. Why can't they have the national guard fly this up there over the vast wooded area surrounding the plant? Seriously no concern for public safety”

yawn...

@atoddh:"Gas is the only future for the OV? What is wrong with coal that has been burned for many many yrs. OH! our president wants to do away with coal at the miners expense and from the way it sounds you want it gone to. Shear stupidity. I grew up with a coal burning furnace and thank you I am doing fine.So if we do away with coal mining, do you have jobs lined up for those men and women? It's people like you and Obama make the going rough. Neither one of you give a crap if people lose their jobs. Just another liberal whack-job!!!

atoddh, What is the bleak outlook for wv revenue?

Will the feds be requiring the states to pay more for medicaid? Federal or state spending still the same tax payer.

dying: with the bleak out look for revenue in WV,I don't think the legislature will give up one penny of the gas proceeds for savings, tax relief or certainly not stipends for citizens. Medicaid alone will cost a fortune.

folks: The midstream operators would not be making these huge investments without the prospect of huge profits and a huge supply of wet gas. Gas is the only future for the OV.

the bottle neck in OV gas has been (1.) processing delay and (2.) collecting lines to processing. This is good news. Things are about to unfold in a big way in Ohio and Belmont Counties.

BTW, Alaska does NOT have a state sales tax! The tax foundation considers Alaska the least taxed state in the Union! Using the natural resources to reduce taxes for the peeps, NOVEL idea! LOL

Alaska has NO income tax and in 2013 each resident received $900 from the Alaska fund! In WV our taxes (property) increase causing us peeps to pay more taxes and now Kessler wants another slush fund for the state spenders! How about tax relief for the peeps? You want a better economy in WV, let me have more of MY money!

When the politicians pick and choose winners and losers! WV "personal" taxes should be some of the lowest in the US! Gas, Oil and Coal can NOT relocate! Should AEP, Bayer and Axill not get the same treatment as the gas industry?

My house taxes are being increased by 10% because the gas/oil has increased the value of my property? when do you suppose they will want to sign the lease on my 1/2 acre lot? LOL

I have a lease in Wetzel County on acreage and the taxes have NOT increased like those in MC!

Winners and losers!

troll, I posted on the yesterday version of this story. If you could explain your statement about markwest and not having schools to support because he/it/they have no children!

I like the idea of me choosing what MY tax dollars would support! The peeps on here would not like all the programs that would not get my funding! LOL

And Marcellus, “oil bomb trains”? LOL

You mean like the oil-transport trains Barry Obamboozler’s financer Warren Buffett owns? The trains that transport northern tar sands oil to market to make millions of dollars for Barry’s campaign cash crony Warren Buffett instead of the Keystone Pipeline transporting that oil to create construction jobs for Americans? Yeah, I wonder why there’s not more talk about Warren Buffett’s “gravy trains,” too...

There are much BIGGER stories out there about the gas patch, like the Pa Supreme Court denying re-argument of ACT 13 that wiped out local zoning. And the new Regs for 'oil bomb' trains that travel through the tri-state area. Or the Pa legislation to get gas gathering lines on the 811 ONE CALL system. Maybe tomorrow after the superload has landed...
