Notice how government went off track when they started to tell the people what they need instead of doing what really is needed like roads, police, fire, public works. Everything else is a waste of taxpayer money, like field of dreams, financing redevelopment or development or redevelopment of development. Too much waste in government. The private sector should be footing their own bills not having the taxpayer pay more to support them.

Back when the roads were GRAVEL, we had MUCH smoother roads than we do today!!!!

Asphalt is simply a BANDAID approach that falls apart immediately under the massive truck traffic on roads today!!!

NOTHING short of CONCRETE and REBAR will ever fix the problem for any length of time!!

These genius DOH and county engineers need to ask themselves why there has never been and never will be a skyscraper, bridge, or tunnel built of asphault!!

PENNY WISE AND DOLLAR STUPID!!!

Who has money for road maintenance when you have a new turf football field to build?

jebbia, it isn't the 'weather' that's hard on the roads, - many of us have lived in places with much, much harsher weather that had fantastic roads.. The culprit is the total lack of upkeep/maintenance - this must be performed throughout the year. The holes in All of the pics have been there for at least 3 / 4 years..& have simply been ignored somehow even as public works vehicles were smashing through them as far back as 2009.. Get your Head out of there..
