SO what happened to the 8 billion that would have been "saved" if they had another slush fund? My guess is it was spent in the first place! If it was "extra" money why would the tax spenders spend it? Fools....

Kessler's Future Slush Fund is just more wealth spreading redistributionism for vote-bribing Demorats.

From the editorial “If a similar future fund had been established in 1970 with a portion of coal severance tax increases, it would have an $8 billion balance today, Kessler has said.”

So you really believe Demorat pols would let $ 8 BILLION sit, untouched, for 44 years? Seriously? You REALLY haven’t been paying attention.

From the editorial “This fund could bring in an estimated $127 million by the end of fiscal year 2019”

Not a chance. That liberally-confiscated wealth will be diverted to vote-buying Government employee salary increases and pension shortfalls before 2016. LOL
