It would be a simple matter to connect the Benwood water system to the McMechen system

These two communities are neighbors and neither can survive on their own

It may be time to combine the two town's resources and infrastructures in order to insure the survival of both!

vincy, I'm sure that the gobernor is full of patronage with our tax dollars! Believe me, I certainly understand! So where do those funds come from? Do the political peeps pick and choose? Your boy Kessler is from? I see him more interested in a slush fund to provide patronage for those he does not represent! Northern Panhandle is where the "severance slush fund" will originate while being spent state wide!

SOME DON'T KNOW THEY DON'T KNOW!

This year alone, MILLIONS have been GRANTED to counties and municipalities throughout West Virginia from the Governor's contingency fund and other state revenue sources.

vincy, I don't think you understand! State Grant money does not grow on trees in Charleston! LOL

The state of WV budget (not counting federal funding) equals $2,330 per citizen. $6,000 per worker! If you consider teachers, state workers, city workers and county workers the total equals about 180,000 of the 700,000 total employed peeps in West Virginia.

This "state" money comes from taxes and fees! No magic money source that I can find....

Where's their Delegates? FELINE THEY HAVE LESS PULL THAN A TOY WAGON!

HOUSE OF DELEGATE MEMBRERS; FELINE FERRRO AND SNOW WHITE EVANS should have sought grant money from the state to defray and resolve this problem for the city that helped elect them! THEY HIDE BEHIND THEIR CAMPAIGN SIGNS IN THE YARDS OF RESIDENTS WHO WILL SUFFER FROM THEIR NEGLECT.

SHAME!

The City of McMechen was for more than a century, a clean, respectable and vibrant community. The lack of leadership over the past few years has not only caused a deterioration of infrastructure and service, but adversley affected the quality of life of its residents.
